Every plan includes unlimited local calls, unlimited inbound calls, the full feature set and special education calling rates. The difference is how many numbers you get, your mobile minutes, and how much 3CX is included. All prices exclude GST.

Extensions are unlimited on our own platform. 3CX extensions are licensed through 3CX, which is why they are counted separately — School Tui Pro includes 30 of them. Our education calling rates are not published publicly; ask us for the current rate card when you book a chat.
Calling mobiles costs more than calling landlines, so mobile minutes come as add-on bundles. Add one to your plan and change it whenever you need to.
Two things decide it: how many separate numbers you need — a main line, an absentee line, perhaps a direct dial for the office — and whether you want teachers on 3CX softphones.
A small primary with a single office line runs comfortably on School Tui at $19.95.
A separate absentee line keeps the morning rush off reception. That is the usual reason schools move to Tui Plus.
If you want staff ringing parents from home on the school’s number, you need softphones. Pro includes fifteen; on the smaller plans you add them per user.

Te Puke High School was in the market for a VoIP system and we enquired with KiwiVOIP for a solution. Jae and his team got in touch to demonstrate the 3CX system and set us up with a trial period to evaluate. We found that 3CX offered exactly what we were after and ticked the major boxes being cloud based, easy to use and able to be administered using internal staff. The entire deployment process, from dealing with N4L, switching over the phone providers, configuring the existing phones and setting up new phones and call queues, was handled by KiwiVOIP. During the process, training to IT and Reception staff was offered to provide clarity on features available, how to get started, and how to manage it going forward. The school now has a high-quality VoIP system in place, offering voicemail and mobile access to every staff member.
